  • why is the phone so expensive on global release though? prior to the global release, the phone was priced around $160-$170 on aliexpress or bangood, which was kind of the selling point due to in part its SoC, 1080p IPS HDR display and triple cam setup, all for under $170. and now global comes along and not its not priced agressively which made it stood out? bad move from Lenovo to be completely honest

  • I purchased a k8 note venom black in 2017 from amazon. After the recent oreo update the phone started restart automatically. It will restart 2 or 3 times whenever it auto restarts. And the time for booting is like 1 or 2 minutes. ONE DAY THE AUTO RESTART PROBLEM GOT EVEN WORSE. The phone starts to freeze on the booting animation and it failed to boots up. I tried to switch on the device and it failed to boot again. Then i contacted the LENOVO AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER – MOBILE HUT, PANDALAM. They flashed the stock rom (android 8.0 oreo) in my phone. Fortunately this time it boots up but again it stucks and auto restart then again stucked at the boot animation. Then the service centre officials suggested me to replace the motherboard of my device which costs almost as a new device. Is that practical ? I found the same issues on other k8 note users too on several forums. Now its been 1 month when my phone is dead. What should i do next? Kindly give me a solution to this issue.

  • When I was testing the phone, I dropped it from the 10th Floor – It didn't break
I accidentally dropped the phone on the road and a truck ran over it – Still, it didn't break
    In their PAID review 👏🏻
